UPDATE 7/30/2011: As noted below, this is
now officially a 'ghost site', dead.
Other that this update I'm leaving it as it was to be a museum

It's over. I quit. Why? First the economy, I got kicked in the balls like
tens of millions of other people have. I simply don't have the computer access
that enabled Hentai Underground to be possible. Second, is the asshole(s) that
have beeen killing download links all over the web. I've been through this
shit four times now and you know what? That's enough, To spend WEEKS uploading
files to watch them get taken down quickly is not my idea of fun.

To my former partner sites, go ahead and remove the link to Hentai Underground,
why direct your fans to a site that is dead?

Nor am I in jail. But I (and HU) have been going through more than a bit of hell lately. Like a millions and millions of other people I got laid off. Between job hunting (with no luck so far) I began to rebuild the Megarotic links. But as the money ran out, I stopped paying my ISP bill. That's why the last update was Nov. 15, 2008. An hour after the last post update I was offline. I kept hoping that it would be a temporary situation. But who knows how long this will be? I don't. Is HU dead? At this time I really can't answer THAT either. For now the only answer I can give you is it's on hiatus. In fact, even when I get back on my feet again I'm not sure if HU will return. Counting the Depositfiles wipeout, I've had all my downloads killed 4 times. It took me 2 weeks uploading almost non-stop just to restore the half that were wiped out by Megarotic! I'm sick of this upload, upload, upload then wipeout shit. I'm not sure I want to go through that again. But do stop by every month or two. If you still see the ads and this post, nothing's changed. If the ads are gone that means I'm trying one more restoration. If I decide to pull the plug, there will be a final post announcing it! UNTILL BETTER DAYS...

No, that ad on the left is not a paid one.
It was an ad I saw on a non-hentai anime site.
It was in flash and because I was too lazy to dig through the code to snag the .swf I took a screenshot and made a .jpg of it.
AFAIK, 'Shuffle' is not hentai (but I'm sure there's hentai of it).
But it was that line in the middle that really got me:

NO, NO, even I'M not that freaky!
If you're into non-hentai anime, cool, whatever, I watch the stuff from time to time myself.
But I'm just not getting this, it's a non-hentai anime character, what's with the panties?

I was suprised anyone even gave a shit. But I checked back a few days later and saw:

Now I haven't decided to jam this fucker full of ads, but I want to leave my options open.
Considering that most hentai blogs are jam-packed with ads and no one bitches (including myself) I thought ''WDF? Why not?''
That creates a problem, if I start placing ads where do I put them?
Advertisers want their ad in prominent places on the page.
Like at the very top and in a column alongside the posts.
I don't blame them, they want their ads SEEN!!!
THAT'S THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT!!!
So I needed to make room for ads here. When I created HU I never even considered placing ads. Wasn't even interested.
So I had to find a way to insert ads without changing the overall ''theme'' of HU.
It was created using the Blogger 'Minima Black' template.
KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) and it did that.
Trouble was other than offering an option for Google ads, it didn't provide much flexibility for including them.
So I had to change that. I started to hunt around for a new template, I didn't want the ''look'' of this blog to change much but I wanted to make prime space for ads.
I found what I was looking for, a modification of 'Minima Black' that provides an extra column to insert ads into.
So I DL'd and installed it. Then I said ''Oh shit''. It did as I intended it to, it made room to place ads alright, but it also wiped out just about everything EXCEPT the posts!!!
You name it, it's gone. Icon? Banner? Cbox? Search box? Translation widget? Affilitates? Tracker?
All went bye-bye. OH, THAT'S JUST FUCKING GREAT!!!
Now I have to do MORE repair work. Heavy-duty HTML. Oh, this is sucking and not in a good way!!!
Now I don't mind HTML too much, I can read and write in HTML (this post is written in HTML) but digging through Blogger to fix things sucks.
So I gritted my teeth and said, ''OK, OK, this is fixable'', and dug in.
So far I've restored the banner, the Cbox, the link lists, some of my affiliates (don't worry, they'll all be restored soon) and my icon. That's one thing I'm glad about, restoring the icon solved a puzzle I gave up on long ago. ''How do I get my icon to work on IE? And why do I care?''. I quit giving a shit about IE years ago.
Then in order to restore my icon I stumbled upon the code that made it work on IE7.
SNAP!!!
Have I heard about Google's new browser called ''Chrome''? Yeah, I've tried it, they did a good job on it, it seems to work as well as Firefox.
But not enough to make me switch.

No, I'm not dead. Yes I'm aware of what happend.
OK, OK, I know everyone wants to know what the hell happend.
Grab a cold one, and start reading.
First I moved, as in packing up all my stuff and relocating.
I'd just got everything transferred to the new place, and just got unpacked enough to be barely functional and started working on a new post. I'd just got the files uploaded and was working on setting up the pics and linking it all together when the phone rings.
It was the University my Nephew was attending, I was listed as ''person to contact in case of emergency''. Belive it or not I'm considered 'the responsible one' in the family.
I know what you're thinking; ''WDF? YOU?''. Yeah, me. And here's why: my sister-in-law is a hardcore druggie, pretty much Anna Nicole Smith with smaller tits (and still alive).
My brother? Heh, YOU try finding him, I don't want to. He's wanted, but not by me. He's facing a whole list of charges such as Fraud, Larceny, Embezzlement and non payment of taxes.
The last time I saw him I stuck a gun in his face and told him to get lost. 'Harboring a fugitive'? No thanks.
So when my Nephew needs something I'm the one he could turn to. He'd been trying to talk him mom into checking into rehab, his girlfriend broke up with him, he was having trouble with his classes and with money.
So when the University phoned me it was an emergency, it was to tell me he was in Hospital due to having attempted suicide.
I dropped everything, called the airline and and reserved a 'standby, first available seat' ticket. 14 hours later I'm at Hospital getting the rundown, it's not good, massive OD, critical condition, heart/lung machine, comatose.
72 hours later no change in condition, and I was faced with the decision no one wants to face, continue or not.
An EEG had been run every six hours, I saw them myself, flat, no change. I discussed it with the Doctors in Attendance, evaluated their prognosis and said ''Is the Chaplin here? I need to talk with him''. He was and I did.
I'd called his mother and she was so spaced I doubt she had any idea what was happening. I'd been on the phone with my Barrister the whole time and he recommended I hire one local to discuss the issue. I did, and because he'd heard and recorded the call between myself and his mother he knew she was not competent to make this decision.
There was no 'out' for me, I could either keep him on the machine for who knows how long or say 'stop'.

If I said I wasn't torn about that I'd be a liar. If it were ''people'' (such as his so-called ''parents'') I could punch their ticket and sleep in peace.
This was someone I gave a shit about!!!
This was not the end of my grand tour of Hell however, I had to take care of all the funeral arraignments and disburse the Estate.
It was no surprise to me that my brother (his father) didn't attend. If he even knows what happened, he would not have been there out of fear of arrest.
His mother did surprise me however, she laid off the pills that day. She was clear-headed, lucid, it was like dealing with a human being. Once that was finished I returned home to discover that a disaster had happened while I was attending to other things. I get to see my modem a charred hunk of plastic and metal. I called the phone company and they sent a technician out to see what had happend. He examined the damage and told me that what had likely happend was the result of a major voltage spike.
I said ''In English?'', He told me that it was quite likely that lightning had hit the downline (the line from the telephone pole to the building) and fried it.
He replaced the modem, tested the line and everything was OK.
And as far as he was concerned, everything was OK. No it wasn't, you notice that I used the word 'modem'? Guess what the modem was attached to.
That's right, my computer was quite literally toast! Fried it as well.
I took it to the shop and was told it was pretty much a total loss, motherboard, CPU, RAM, power supply all burnt to a crisp. I couldn't get mad at the geek, I was right there when he opened it up. I could smell it, it was fried.
I removed the hard drive and said ''dump the rest''.
I don't know if anything on it is recoverable, I removed it for privacy. The geek understood that.
So I bought a new computer. Set it up, booted it and discovered something else to disappoint me. Windows Vista. I literally said ''NOOOOOOOOOO!!! I WANTED XP!!!''.
So here I am, Vista Home Premium SP1 (I'd heard there was an SP1 for Vista, but I didn't care at the time).
It's pretty looking, I'll say that much for it. I was able to DL and install Firefox 3 with no problem (I DESPISE IE) and went to HU to homepage it.
THAT is when I discovered my newest nightmare, the HCB Forum is gone.
Wiped out by some pillowbiters known as ''online guardian''.
Likely their panties were in a bunch because I didn't bother to post any yaoi pr0n there!!!
Not my thing, just not interested.
As far as licencing issues are concerned, I don't see it. The only thing I've posted that I knew was licenced was the Kodomo no Jikan manga.
And if you read that post, you'll know why I don't give a flying fuck about that. It was pulled off the market (I think I know WHY that happened, but I don't think I'll say that here)

The Manga has been quite controversial as well.

In a second statement regarding Nymphet DeAngelis explained some of the reasoning behind the series' cancellation. He stated that, "my primary reason for canceling Nymphet is due to my recent realization that later volumes in the series can not be considered appropriate for the US market by any reasonable standard." However, another reason given was that, "[the vendors] began dropping their orders left and right, so their opinion on this matter became pretty clear cut." Specifically, DeAngelis said that he went back and re-reviewed the later volumes of Kodomo no Jikan and discovered content that he regarded as highly unsuitable for publication. The specific pages mentioned showed a scene of the main characters, Rin Kokonoe and Daisuke Aoki, stuck in a room with freezing temperatures. Rin hugs Aoki to try and stay warm, and in the process accidentally rubs Aoki's crotch, who gets an erection. Some fans felt that the author's choice to depict an adult character "forced" into a situation where he was inadvertently aroused by a child character was appropriate, since it was "accidental"; these fans claimed that DeAngelis was grasping at straws by labeling such a scene inappropriate.

There IS going to be a second KnJ anime series!
It is in production now with the working title of KnJ: Second term.
Now that Vol. 5 of the manga is officially released (July 11,2008) it will include a promotional DVD for the new series.
Which I now have subbed in English!
OK, I got that one wrong. I didn't think there would be a second series!
I'm guessing it will begin airing on Japanese TV in early October.
I don't think they will be as censored as the first series was.
And when I get them I'll start posting them.

Haven't done a FrankenManga in a while. What can I say? Been a bit busy lately!!! The white stuff is falling, the winter equinox is occuring and I'm now into the Christmas spirit (GOOOOOD eggnog)
MORE FrankenManga ARE ALWAYS CUMMING!!!
One thing I get asked fairly often is ''Do you have any English-Translated stuff?''. And actually I do. The problem is whole translated Mangas are rather hard to find.
Especially the less-mainstream stuff that has little or no commercial value. What are fairly easy to find are single chapters of various Manga. So, I've started to create my own Mangas out of them. I can hear it now ''But, but, what about the purity of the art form?''. The truth is the Japanese do the same thing all the time. Monthly publications are merely collections of unrelated chapters (and usually by different Mangakas) under a single cover. Others are a 'best of' either a Manga series (like Slow Step which could be retitled ''Best of Hinakan'') or of a single Mangaka (like Round Shell which could also be called ''Best of Wanyan Aguda'') or of single previously published chapters with an overall theme (like Daikiari which appeared in Comic Megastore through '04-'05).
So the ''purity of the art form'' argument is just bullshit. I'm merely doing the same thing with the only overall ''theme'' being that these are English translated. There is no schedule for these, I post them when I put them together and set them up as .zip downloads. A friend suggested I post a 'Contents' list for each one. I didn't think of that when I began working on them.

THE FILE APOCALYPSE IS HAPPENING AGAIN!!! I went to GigaSize to update KnJ (the manga) Vol.5.
Then I noticed something. When I uploaded KnJ (the anime) #8 the file count was about 260
As I write this it's now 60. It's quite likely that all of them will be nuked shortly.
I went through this with zupload and AutumnFox went through this with rapidshare
Well, looks like I'm switching to MegaRotic also.
Then get to work on fixing the .zips and their links.
Obviously this will take quite some time. It took a month to fix all the damage the last time I went through this and it will likely take another month to rebuild AGAIN.
The FrankenMangas will be the first to be re-uploaded (they were the most popular file downloaded by far). The KnJ collection will be next and then the single mangas.
As before, if you have any requests for which ones you would like to see right away let me know in the comments to this post and I'll make that one the next to be uploaded.

Am I aware of it? OH YEAH!!! For those who aren't, It's pretty much Gordon Sumner's song turned into a Manga. Then that Manga became an Anime series. That's how I became aware of it.
It's been keeping my busy lately, I've been reading (and prepping for post) the Manga and Anime Series.
Is it Hentai? No, it's not. It pushes the line, but doesn't cross it.

Censorship And Japan

I was recently asked ''are the animes here uncensored as well?''. It was a completely valid question. The entire CREAM LEMON series is both hentai and censored.
When it comes to censorship and Japan there is NEVER an easy answer. To this day, even hentai manga are routinely censored to some degree. It used to be the law in Japan that genitals and pubic hair had to be obscured. Even X-rated stuff produced outside of Japan had to comply with Japanese obscenity laws.
That's right, in order to be allowed for sale in Japan, HUSTLER magazine had to censor the crotch. They did, and Larry Flint bitched about it many times. It was fairly recent that Japan (2000, I think) did away with such laws, but the side effect of it still lingers even today. I see it all the time, anime, H-game, manga, censored, censored, censored. For them it's routine (and the Japanese adore routine), and that's why that question never has an easy answer, it's a part of Japanese culture that we are dealing with here.
When it comes to the KnJ anime, Bandai themselves censored it for broadcast on the Japanese TV stations that would even run it at all. That's how I got all 12 censored episodes, they were broadcast, tivo'd, subbed to English and put up as a torrent.
As the term OVA implies, it was never broadcast (it was included as a bonus with Vol. 4 of the KnJ manga) which is why it's not censored. As I write this eps. 1 and 2 have been released to DVD without the censorship in the broadcast versions.
I seperated the censored/uncensored versions so you can choose what you want. If you want to see the whole anime series now, you can do that. If you want uncensored, you'll have to wait. When I get them, I'll post them.

KnJ Dubbed?

In a word: NO.
Not gonna happen, and here's why; Dubbing costs.
Subtitling can be done in less than a day, by one person, on a computer. The typical 'turnaround' for a fansub is 48 hours from original broadcast/DVD release. Yeah, that's how I got 'em so quick! Dubbing is a team effort, renting studio time, hiring and paying voice actors, post production, ect. And all that costs money. Money the studio/distributor hopes to recover in sales. Or licencing to TV.
Think the Cartoon Network would want KnJ (even censored)? Me neither. After the disaster of the introduction of the manga to the US market it's safe to say Bandai is NOT going to try selling the anime outside of Japan. They've already done the audio production. For Japan.

I've heard about it, and the reactions have been everything from 'yuck' (the typical haters that can FOAD) to ''Eh, it just doesn't work'' (it promised more than it delivered) so I put off checking it out. So now I'm got a decent (NOT .rmvb) sub of it and am starting to watch it.
I'm not expecting it to be another KnJ and I already know it has tentacle scenes (I said when I began this I HATE tentacle scenes and that hasn't changed).
MOETAN is now on the docket, and I AM THE JUDGE.
You can't bribe me. You just can't.
But you can still buy my opinion. A friend of mine wants donations, and the more you donate the more my friend can get me interested in Moetan. LET THE BRIBES BEGIN!!!

I too am disappointed that Friday is the 12^th of Oct. this year.
A couple of weeks ago the final episode of the Anime series with the innocent-sounding name

was supposed to run.
But it didn't, it was pulled from broadcast literally at the last second to replace it with a scenery program.

At the time the speculation was because it was too violent. it turns out when a somewhat censored version finally aired that it was true.
Black blood? (and lots of it) WTF? But what was even sicker than the Anime itself (yeah, I'd call it guro) were the comments after it.
Seems like every fucking guro fan crawled out from under it's rock to praise this.
Looks like 10 'yay!!!' comments to every 'yuck!!!' one. I was indeed tempted to leave a link to English Hentai's guro collection to give these sick fucks something else to get off on.
But then I realized that would be spamming, and how much I hate that, and changed my mind.
BTW, on sort of on a related note, I was visiting one of the Spanish-language forums that I use to hunt down new stuff and I stumbled upon this:Incest Mangas [ALL are in ENGLISH].
I thought ''Hmmm'' those listings and DepositFiles links look familer, did some checking and yup, sure enough, they were lifted straight from English Hentai! Scroll down through the replies, a moderator busted ''yasya''! ROTFL!!!
I was curious, I now have School Days 12 as a 'fansub', I've now seen it, and it seems to me that this asshat blogger WANTED to bring the guro fans out from under their rocks. IT DID WORK!!!

Manga Review: Wanyan Aguda - Futanari Yesterday

The last time I said that was with Waita Uziga: In a Quagmire.
I saw it for myself, it was Waita Uziga, and it was NOT guro. And it was both translated and good.
Unfortunately, this one's not translated. Hopefully someone will do it in the future.

Wanyan Aguda: Futanari Yesterday - 04/30/2008

I know what you're thinking: ''Dude, aren't you familer with his work? Didn't you see the rules?''. To answer that: Quite familiar with his work thank you. And YES I did see the rules.
He has done fuatanari only once before, one chapter of ''Brother Day of the Week''.
It's right there on the screen, I'm looking at it. And I'm still not beliving it.
The main character seems to be a female(?) sensei that looks a lot like the girl on the cover of Round Shell Second but with big tits.
Oh, excuse me, and a dick.
Now I don't dislike futanari, I'm just not a big fan of it either.
But I am a fan of Wanyan Aguda. And this is up to his normal high standards.
Yeah, we got cute, cheerful girls(?) and and plenty of (dickgirl this time) bukakke. Another thing that's not typical for Aguda is that this seems to have an overall storyline to it.
Wish I could judge this on the story, but I can't read Japanese.
Normally with hentai, if there is an overall storyline it's usually poorly told and pointless. See Papa Nanka Daikrai for a good example of that. But it's very good hentai anyway.
C'mon folks, this is hentai, things like English translation and good storytelling are just icing and decorations on the cake anyway. So does it work as hentai?
